Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in the Bronx area of New York) is an American performer and actress. Navedo first began acting professionally in daytime dramas. In 1995-1997, she played Linda Soto in ABC's soap show One Life to Live. In 1999 she joined the cast of the CBS soap opera Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut was in the role of Girl 6 in 1996. She went on to star in New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo was as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film released in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the next year. From 2001 to 2004 Navedo was a frequent character on the NBC crime drama Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages was the next episode in the same vein, along with Blue Bloods. Navedo played in a variety of movies, such as El Cantante and Remember Me. From 2011 until 2013 Navedo was also a regular character in How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Superfast!, a comedy film that she played. The film that parodies The Fast and the Furious series came out in 2015. Navedo started her acting career in soap operas that aired during daytime. She played Linda Soto, the ABC soap opera One Life to Live from 1995 until 1997. In 1999, she was Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. The actress had a minor role in Girl 6 in 1996 and later appeared on New York Undercover episodes and The District. In 2001, Navedo co-starred in the action comedy Double Take. Double Take.
